Title of the position: Senior Director of Human Resources
Department: Administrative
Reports to: VP of Finance and Administration
Type of Position: Full-time Hours per Week: 40 Pay: Exempt

The Senior Director of Human Resources provides executive-level leadership and guidance to the organization’s HR operations. This position is responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices, and identifying and implementing strategic talent management goals. This position will lead the organization internally in its key core value of commiting to equity and the empowerment of all.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collaborates with executive leadership to define the organization's long-term mission and goals; identifies ways to support this mission through talent management.
Foster a commitment to DEI among leaders and employees leading the way towards an inclusive, and high performing culture
Develops, and implements competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs.
Develops and implements programs in recruiting, onboarding, and learning & development as well as career pathing
Lead effective and consistent implementation of performance management practices across the organization including leadership development, accelerated development and succession
Provides guidance and leadership to the human resource team
Ensures compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.
Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management.
Evaluate internal and external systems to optimize performance management, compensation strategy & retention

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required;
At least ten years of human resource management experience required, with demonstrated experience in strategy, talent management, and/or business development experience highly preferred.
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP are strongly preferred.
Ability to work through ambiguity

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
