The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $116,534 - $154,413.  Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.Join Our Team as a Senior Sourcing Manager!We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Sourcing Manager to lead procurement activities for capital equipment and maintenance services. This role will drive supplier selection, contract negotiation, and lifecycle cost optimization across high-impact categories including machinery, infrastructure upgrades, and MROC (Maintenance, Repair & Operations on Capitals). The ideal candidate combines technical fluency with commercial & supply chain management acumen, ensuring sourcing decisions align with operational reliability, budget targets, and long-term asset value.Key Responsibilities:Capital Sourcing Strategy<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">Partner with departmental/value stream leaders and key stakeholders to implement a global sourcing strategy for Capital Equipment (including, but not limited to: fabrication, machining, testing, automation, facility, etc.) and Maintenance (“MROC”) based on industry and market trends and conditions and continue to assess in the medium/long term (3-5 years) horizon.</li><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">Develop a segmentation database/strategy to provide visibility to S&C management & key stakeholders. </li><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">Lead sourcing for capital projects including manufacturing equipment (e.g., fabrication, machining, testing, automation), and facility upgrades, and infrastructure investments.</li><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Finance to align sourcing plans with CapEx budgets and ROI targets.</li><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">Manage RFx processes, supplier/bid evaluations, and total cost of ownership analyses.</li></ul>Maintenance & MROC Sourcing<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">Oversee sourcing of maintenance services, spare parts, and MROC supplies.</li><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">Develop supplier performance metrics focused on uptime, responsiveness, and cost control.</li><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">Collaborate with Maintenance/Facility teams to forecast needs and reduce unplanned downtime.</li></ul>Supplier Management & Negotiation<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships across capital and maintenance categories.</li><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">Lead negotiations on contracts, service level agreements, and warranties to mitigate risk and ensure value and optimized TCO (Total Cost of Ownership).</li><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">Monitor market trends and identify alternative sources to improve competitiveness.</li></ul>Compliance & Risk Mitigation<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">Ensure sourcing activities comply with internal policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.</li><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">Support audits and documentation for capital projects and maintenance contracts.</li></ul>Cross-Functional Leadership<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">Function as sourcing lead on cross-functional capital project teams.</li><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">Manage contract compliance activities</li><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">Other task as assigned</li><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">Maintain regular and .5in;">Communicate effectively and respectfully with others.</li></ul>What you’ll Need To Succeed:Required <ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.</li><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">5- years of sourcing experience, with at least 2 years in capital equipment or maintenance categories in the manufacturing industry.</li><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">Strong negotiation skills and experience with complex contracts. </li><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">Sound understanding of manufacturing processes for industrial products and components, including fabrication and machining, both passive and active.</li><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">Familiarity with asset lifecycle management, CapEx planning, and MRO optimization.</li><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">Ability to lead project teams and provide direction to cross-functional project groups.</li><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">Great critical thinking, organizational, planning and project management skills, coordinating internal and external resources, creative problem-solving when obstacles arise, and juggling a heavy volume of diverse operational/tactical projects to deadlines and budgets. </li><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">Great people skills to establish meaningful relationships built on mutual trust and respect, navigate and resolve conflict, moderate behaviors and foster collaborative working relationships amongst a diverse audience. </li><li style="line-height:normal;tab-stops:list .5in;">Sound communication skills, (written, verbal, listening and presentation) able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels from leadership to support staff.
