The Field Service Supervisor is responsible for is responsible for the daily management of the field technical staff. The Field Service Supervisor will have formal supervisory responsibilities for a defined team of Field Service Engineers and may be requested to support the district with limited service calls and preventative maintenance (PMs). The supervisor models outstanding customer service through strong communication and collaboration skills both internally and with our customers. Core duties include building a technically strong and cohesive team while maintaining a strong partnership with sales to retain base business. Effectively ensuring the day-to-day operations of the field service team performs with accuracy and completeness in repairs, calibrations, instrument qualifications, and shipping & receiving.
This position reports to the Senior Field Service Manager and is part of the North America Service Organization working remotely to cover Minneapolis, MN and surrounding areas.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead weekly team calls to review customer issues, KPIs, and general team announcements.
- Lead by example and work to build the best team via employee development and by recruiting the best internal and external candidates
- Partner with assigned team and coordination center to define the best strategies to support our customers
- Drive a sense of urgency to ensure customer needs are addressed promptly with an emphasis on first-time fix, driving compliance and leveraging DBS to map organizational improvements.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- High School Diploma with 8+ years experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, and/or electronic equipment
- Or Bachelors degree with 5+ years experience Or Masters degree with 3+ years experience
- Current and clean drivers license record
- Must be willing to travel approximately 25%-50% of the time
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Previous Beckman Coulter Field Service Engineer experience
- Supervisory management experience
- Troubleshooting and repair experience on medical laboratory instruments

The annual salary range for this role is $90,000-120,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
