Job Description

Proactively seeks out strategic business opportunities with high-level business unit executives. Provides advice,assistanceand leadership in any area associated with the planning, procurement, provision, delivery, management,maintenanceand effective business use of information systems for a business area. Analyzes business processes; elicits,analyzesand documents business requirements;identifiesalternative solutions, assessesfeasibilityand makes recommendations typicallyseekingto exploit andleveragenew or existing technology components. Translates business requirements into functional requirements; performs data and process modeling; manages change; and leads, coordinates/performs testing, verification, and validation of requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Process Analysis & Improvement:Worksdirectly with business unit clients to understand specific business processes and business drivers and business strategies across multiple business units.
  • Technology Investigation & Strategy Development:Investigatesand understandscapabilitiesofpatient CRMsystems and investigatesglobal patient CRM system applicability tobusinessarea.
  • Compliance & Evaluation:Compliancewithglobal patient data policies and external regulations like GDPR & HIPAA.Identifiescurrent and emerging business needs and evaluatessalesforcetechnology solutions.
  • Information Systems Strategy:Proactively seeks out strategic business opportunities for theglobalpatientCRMwith regional high-level business executivesafter performing strategicanalyses and insights to helpdecision making.
  • Relationship Management:Develops business relationships and integrates activities with otherregional stakeholders toensure successful implementation and support of project efforts.
  • Communication & Conflict Resolution:Allies with otherregional stakeholders and enterprisesto remain current on projectstatus andinformprogress; conversely,keepsmanagers aware of user issues and resolves conflicts.
  • Responsibility & Accountability:Accountablefor the accuracy of the fit of the proposed business process improvements.Also accountable for communicating business needs and drivers to development groups toassurethe implementation phase can fulfill the businessneed.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree with7years experience;Master's Degreewith6years experience; PhD with2years experience.
  • 5+ years experience as a ProductManagerwith Salesforce CRM based solutions.
  • Proven experience with Agile methodologies, and Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
  • Proven experience collaborating with engineering and designteams spreadacross the globe.
  • 3+ years experience as a people leader/manager.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw insights that drive the business forward.
  • Determinesand developsapproachand solutions to problems.
  • Fluent in English as AbbVies designated global business language.

Preferred:

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Health Cloud.
  • Work experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience working with data analytics.
