Job Description

Thisrole isever changing and driven by the innovation andcreativity of the personacceptingthe position.Must have the ability to work witha wide range of individuals and flex quickly depending on the situation.Will need todevelop relationshipsandmaster the landscape of each unique territoryefficiently to provide support.This role will support Field Input Teams (FIT) across the Parkinsons team.The candidate should have a willingness to try new things and adjust course,if needed tomeet the needs of the team and organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Coveropen territories throughout the nation and partner with theAssociate DirectorandFRMto set up a plan for territory coverage. Collaborate with localRegional Account Executive, District Managers, andSales Representatives to ensure streamlined managed care and provider support.Requires up to 75%travel.
  • Partner with Market Access Colleaguesto increase communication between the teams. Act as a liaisonfor information between theFRMand MarketAccess Team and relayimportant informationonnational calls. Gather insights fromthe FRMsand have regularmeetingswith Market Access to review.
  • Develop a communication strategy to provide education and support to thebroaderFRMteam throughvirtualnational meetings, direct training, and seniormanagerteam calls.Manage the schedule, content, andlogisticsof virtual national meetings and adjust depending on the needs of theteam.
  • Work directly with training to onboard new hires and develop trainingscheduleand content. Ensure the employee has access to all devices and systems needed for the role. Troubleshoot any issuesin a timely manner.
  • Stay up to date on changesaffectingthe organization and ensure consistent communicationbetween cross-functional colleagues and implement strategies based on analytics received from senior leadership.Collaborate withSenior Managers, National Business Manager, Market Access, Program Strategy, and Trainingto communicateand provide informationto the team and organization.
  • Use creativity and innovation to developproposals based on thebusinessrequirementsof the organization and theneeds of theFRMteam.Discuss proposal ideas with the National Business Managerand create a plan based onideas and informationgathered throughthemeeting.Present finalizedproposalto Directorsfor review.
  • Involvement with special projectsandstrategic initiatives (pilots,new programs, brand/product expansions).Collaborate with Associate Directors and National Directorto monitorKPIs monthly and quarterlyand ensure reporting systems are in placefor performance updates.

This role is field-based, and candidates should live within a reasonable distance of the primary city. Talent will be hired at a level commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of industry experience in access and reimbursement or account management and at least 3 years of experience in specific therapeutic area with experience in Managed Health Care, Payer Account Management, and/or Access and Reimbursement and Excellent territory and account management skills
  • Extensive experience educating others on payer processes, requirement for coverage, and other access related situations for specialty medicines
  • Strong track record of leadership within current role. Strong understanding and ability to communicate technical elements of coding and billing requirements at the National and Regional level across all settings of care
  • Comprehensive understanding of Parts A, B, C and D or Medicare and associated reimbursement dynamics
  • Strong understanding of drug acquisition and dispensing in the specific therapeutic area space (Specialty Pharmacies, Specialty Distributors and white-bagging, etc.)
  • Demonstrated understanding of the rules, regulations and risks associated with provision of reimbursement support services
    Strong understanding of access and reimbursement support service centers and how to effectively interact in a compliant fashion
  • Bachelors degree/ Valid drivers license
  • An essential requirement of your position is to satisfy all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements to gain and maintain entry into facilities and organizations that are in your assigned territory. You must also be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain these credentials.
  • These HCIR credentialing requirements may include, but are not limited to, background checks, drug screens, proof of immunization/vaccination for various diseases, fingerprinting and specific licenses required by individual state or cities.   • Operating a personal automobile, company car or truck, or powered material handling equipment
  • Valid drivers license: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirement.
