HOW A SQUADRON/AOR SUPPLY TECHNICIAN WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Performs clerical and manual tasks to maintain an inventory of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
Utilize intermediate experience with USAF logistics/supply protocols, procedures, and forms.
Monitor and maintain proper inventory levels throughout the production cycle of the organization's product, including pulling or replenishing inventory to satisfy organization needs.
Draw on knowledge of military and commercial transportation requirements, methods, services, procedures, and documentation to support the logistics of medium-scale deployments to forward areas.
WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Associates of Arts/Associates of Science
Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
Required Technical Skills: Supply chain management/ forklift license 3k/5k/10k; Security+ certification
Security Clearance Level: Secret
Required Skills and Abilities: Must meet the certification requirement on the SPIN-C or individual task order.
Location: On Customer Site
CERTIFICATIONS:
Must meet the certification requirement on the SPIN-C or individual task order.
OR
Associates degree in any discipline from an accredited institution and DOW Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) training.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
Intermediate experience in logistics/supply management, cargo, and transportation within the last ten (10) years. Must be cognizant of military and commercial transportation requirements, methods, services, procedures, and documentation. Must have an in-depth knowledge of the logistics of medium-scale deployments to forward areas. Prefer several years of OCONUS experience and experience with USAF-specific procedures and documentation.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Intermediate experience with the following:
USAF logistics/supply protocols, procedures, forms
DoW and AF forms including: AF Form 9 (Request for Purchase), AF Form 601 (Equipment Action Request), AF Form 2005 (Issue/Turn-in Request), DD Forms 1575 and 2332 (Product Quality Deficiency Tags), DD Form 1149 (Shipping Document).
