Using my Christian Faith as a Guideline in relationships

Using my Christian Faith as a Guideline in relationships

As we all know women have been pegged as petty, jealous, trifling, competetive and some not so nice labels. I find that the best way to be a friend is not to gossip about others, not to be jealous of their success, but to relish their accomplishments, which in turn enriches me as a person.

I don't bore my friends with my problems, because I understand they have theirs too. Most times we exchange ideas. I also follow "neither a lender nor a borrower be."

Sometimes, we find ourselves needing help and a true friend will step up and offer, and if I accept the help, then I try to reciprocate two fold.

One of the Christian rules we have to follow to avoid the enemy's influence, is to stay away from trouble. The Devil is the father and author of lies, and contention, Brewing discord amongst us, one of my greatest virtues is to not respond when insulted, challenged, or provoked.

My response is to say a prayer, so having said, that "Father forgive us all our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation.

I hope many see the wisdom in God's word as His word is manifested in our daily lives. God Bless all my sisters and brothers.

It sounds like you live your life much like I do. Many people tell me that to live this way is not something that they can do because people are too ungrateful. I remind them that you rarely get from those to whom you give but when you do the right thing, God sends what you need from those from whom you least expect it.

All the time, Dr. Maxwell-Hines..all the time. I count my blessings and they are many, and like yourself I found out it's not from those to whom you have given.

This is so common place in my life, I cheerfully do for others and the blessings come pouring down all the time, in so many little ways. I am also painfully honest, and I don't think that I will change at my station in life.

Even when I am asked for money, and I said this before, I don't give able bodied white men money, but I can get them a job. Can't say the same for a brother, I cannot get a brother any old job. I understand the differences.

love is neither envious or jealous..so many "christian women" who do not show this by their fruits..

"If my people, which are called by My Name, will humble themselves, and pray, and seek My Face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from Heaven, and forgive their sin, and heal their Land."

"Land" also includes our "condition" and our "relationships".

Peace and Love,

And, my sister may I just add, "always treat others as if you will need them again" or in other words, "treat others as you want to be treated".
